Initial D: Street Stage

Nissan Silvia K's (S13)
Cole is one of the many drivers in Initial D, his car would be the well known Nissan Silvia
(S13) edition. The car's powerful 2.0 L DOHC Turbo-I4 (SR20DET) gives it both power and
control. The S13's production started in year 1988-1993, starting from S10 the grandfather
of the S13. The Silvia S13 is one of Nissan's car to have use the multi-link suspension. With
the all new multi-link suspension the car gained more control, however this didnt make much
of a difference in drift. Thus Nissan decided to add a all new intercooler under the hood,
which resulted in more control of the car and more power. Some of us would ask what does the
"K" stand for? The K stands for the model within the series of the S13's. There are 3
models of the S13s: J,K,Q, the J level car is just your basic car type, the K level's are
those with turbocharger CA18DET or the SR20DET engines. For the Q editions the exteriors
of the car has changed. The Nissan Silvia K's (S13) is truly a fast machine, in the game
Cole would be the owner of the car. Cole is the leader of the Akina Speed Stars, the
speed stars rule the mountain passes of Mount Akina. Even though they are the best of
Mount Akina, they are far weaker than Team Red Suns. Their only battle with the Red Suns
was won by the help of Takumi owner of the Toyota (AE86). Thus within the game you can
only play the Akina Speed Stars twice, once in Myogi and the other in their own home
base. The Silvia (S13) is a good beginners car, since this car is easy to control with
fair amount of Power. Having to say "fair amount of power" doesnt mean this car has
enough, even to the final upgrades of the car parts, will you never able to beat the
Mazda RX-7 FC3S in power. However the Nissan Silvia K's (S13) is still on the top list of
beginner cars.
